Actually, there are no consequences for crimes if you're wealthy, powerful, and influential. Henyard is all three because she was appointed as Mayor. At that point, her actions are her own and no accountability exists unless she decides that she should be held accountable. She may do or take whatever she desires.

I hate to agree with you, but you do speak the truth to power and wealth. It has nothing to do with her ethnicity. It has everything to do with her attitude toward thinking the taxpayer money is hers to spend anyway she sees fit to do that in her personal life. At the 3:12 mark, when she couldn’t answer the question if she took a trip to Las Vegas or not, that was the telling sign of entitlement to position. If you have nothing to hide, then you should be able to rattle off answers to any questions somebody ask you whether if it’s a constituent or a reporter. Her nonverbal reactions were everything I needed to know about this individual. Is there anyway to remove her from Office like a recall ballot in her locality?

This is insane. I live in Los Angeles County and am mesmerized by the open corruption and how slow the justice system is to be addressing this. The State Government and the Federal government response has been pathetic. Though I know in the end, she's going to be in jail/prison. So glad my mother drove to California while she was pregnant with me. We have problems in CA, but Illinois is beyond comprehension.
